Team Elite is on a mission to help those in need.

On Saturday, November 10th we will be gathering up as many athletes as possible to donate their time by raking leaves and helping the elderly and those physically unable.

It is our hope that our athletes will learn the importance of giving back to the community and those in need by partaking in events such as this.

WHO: All our Elite Athletes (and any of their friends) are welcomed and encouraged to join

WHAT: Elite Athletes Giving Back - Fall Charity Event

WHERE: The house that we will be raking is located close to Lake Catholic High School in Mentor (we will email all sign-ups the address closer to the date).

WHEN: Saturday, November 10th starting at 11:30

WHY: To give back to our community and help the elderly who are not physically able to rake the leaves in their yard

You can sign your child/children up by filling out the form below.

We will be giving more detailed instructions to those who sign up as we get closer to the event (the location we will be raking, estimated time we will be done, etc.).

Commonly asked questions about this event:

How does the transportation work, do I need to be available to and from the destination?  If not, how (who) provides the transportation?
You can either drop your child off at Elite at 11:00 or the house we are raking at around 11:30.

If you drop your child off at Elite then they can ride with one of the coaches/parents that will be attending the event.  We can also return any children to Elite to be picked up after the event if you cannot pick them up at the house.

What house will we be raking at?
The house that we will be raking is located close to Lake Catholic High School in Mentor (we will email all sign-ups the address closer to the date).

How long does the event typically last?
This is hard to estimate as the size of the yard and the number of kids signed up will determine how long.  Last year we committed about 3 hours.  The kids can leave whenever they need to if they have other obligations.  Last year kids texted/called their parents when we were close to finishing to let them know when a good time to be picked up would be.

We will be proving pizza at the end of the day, so they will have something to occupy them if they need to wait 10-15 minutes for their ride.

Is the group together or is it split up?
This will be a group activity.  Everyone will stay together with myself, other coaches, and any parents that partake.

What does my child need to bring?
Just a rake (if you have one) - we will be providing everything else needed for the day (including pizza and water).

We also ask that all children are dressed properly for the weather conditions that day (hats, gloves, jackets, etc.)

At Elite, it is our mission to provide more than just sports performance training and nutrition to our athletes.

We not only want our kids to improve as athletes on the field, but we also want to see our athletes develop and grow off the field as well.

With that being said, we created Elite Athletes Giving Back - a charity group that will give our athletes the opportunity to step up as leaders in our community and work together for a greater cause.

We feel that giving our athletes the opportunity to donate their time to help others is a great way to help foster and instill many positive qualities that can help them develop and become a winner in all areas of life.
