Amber Fioritto

Head of Elite Soccer Program

Hometown: Euclid

Schooling/Certification(s):

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Kent State

  • BS from Wright State

Playing History/Highlights: Played soccer as my main sport at Wright State, but also ran the 100m and did long jump for the track and field team. Although I loved playing in college, my most memorable sporting moment came from winning states and nationals at Walsh Jesuit my senior year of high school.

Coaching Experience: Coached North Royalton u9 girls travel soccer for 2 years. 1 on 1 and small group training for 2 years at Elite

What you love most about coaching: Watching and making sure the girls love the sport as much as I did at their age!

Biggest Influence In Your Life: My mother

When I'm not coaching I like to: Be with my son, husband, and family members. Coed sports leagues. Read

Favorite "cheat meal": Mint oreos and milk...can I count that as a meal?!

If you could have lunch with anyone in the world: Will Smith because he's hilarious and I think he could teach me a thing or two

Playing History/Highlights: I was a 3 sport, Varsity athlete all 4 years of my high school. However, my main focus was soccer and High jump (track & field). I was 4x All Conference, 2x All-Ohio, and NH Player of the Year. I continued my soccer career at Tiffin University where I played all 4 yrs.

Coaching Experience: I have coached soccer at Willoughby South for a total of 6 years. One year as the JV coach, one year as a Varsity Assistant, and 4 years as the Varsity Head Coach.

What you love most about coaching: I love making that special connection with my athletes. Instilling the same life lessons that were taught to me and sharing the same passion for the game that I love.

Biggest Influence In Your Life: My family

When I'm not coaching I like to: Spend time with my 3 children, husband, and other family members. Play in Co-ed sports leagues. Cook

Favorite "cheat meal": Pasta....or Doritos (if you could count that as a meal)

If you could have lunch with anyone in the world: I would have lunch with Brian Kight, founder of Daily Discpline, and Co-Founder of the Focus 3 Podcast. His life's philosophy of E+R=O, and his daily teachings has changed and inspired my life so much.

ATHLETE SUCCESS STORIES

Coach Amber was spot on with her assessment and feedback.

The soccer camp was a great opportunity to learn new skills in a group setting while receiving individualized feedback.

Coach Amber did a wonderful job of meeting each player’s skill level and then challenging them to work hard and improve.
