This sled variation, which starts our athletes in a parallel stance (feet side by side), teaches our athletes how to properly incorporate a "power step" to initiate the acceleration phase.
This "power step" is 🔑 key to getting our athlete's body in an optimal position to be EXPLOSIVE.
The first 2 steps are crucial for acceleration and will make the difference in an athlete beating their competitor. Because of this, we spend a lot of time coaching these first couple steps.
