The deadlift is a great variation to develop the posterior chain (the engine) of an athlete.
Adding chains makes it even better!
The chains force the athlete to be EXPLOSIVE from start to finish as that is the only way you will move the bar off the ground.
As the bar rises from the ground, the chains are lifted of the ground adding more and more weight to the bar.
This is a great variation for more advanced athletes that are looking to really that 💥 EXPLOSIVE POWER
