Reverse Lunge with Band

Elite Level Hockey Athlete, Lauren Bernard, performing some band resisted reverse lunges.

Single leg training movements, like this one, are great for athletes because they:

✔️ Improve single leg max strength

✔️ Improves body awareness and control

✔️ Reduces risk for injury (by strengthening joint stabilizing muscles)

✔️ Improves balance

The band is a great addition for advanced athletes as it increases the difficulty providing the athlete with accommodating resistance.
