We use many squatting variations with our athletes, with this being one of them.
Front squats utilize the quads a little bit more than our regular box squats. This variation also challenges the athlete's core as it is a little bit more challenging to balance the weight when it is placed in the front squat position.
At Elite, we like to rotate our main movements, like the squat, every 3 weeks.
