Elite Youth Athlete working on jumping mechanics to:
✔️ Improve power output (improve jumping ability)
✔️ Reduce risk for injury (learning how to land properly can drastically reduce athlete injuries)
With our younger athletes, we slow it down and break the movement into a couple segments in order for the athlete to learn the movement better. This helps them to better grasp our coaching and allow them to get a better "feel" for their body.
Ultimately it our goal to ingrain PROPER movement habits with our young athletes.
Learn them right from a young age and you will progress at a much faster rate down the road as a more advanced athlete.
