Bands are a great training tool to use with young athletes as they can make learning new movement patterns easier (when compared to regular free weights).
Learning is key for young athletes, so we want to structure the environment for maximal learning.
Young athletes need to establish GOOD HABITS, so continue to train and reinforce good movement patterns and progress them as they are ready to advance to more and more advanced training.
